Buying with context

Before buying a commercial cleaning robot

Turn floor area, obstacles and cleaning windows into a practical brief.

Map the actual cleaning job

Record cleanable area (not gross floor area), floor material, carpet zones, thresholds, narrowest passage, ramps and public traffic. Define how often each area must be cleaned.

Compare like-for-like efficiency

Separate theoretical maximum from practical coverage. Check whether the value refers to scrubbing, sweeping or vacuuming. Request a site trial with your layout; do not use brochure maxima as a guarantee.

Plan the full deployment

Confirm water supply and drainage, docking location, charging access, consumables, software fees, maintenance, staff training and local service. Ask which accessories are optional and who handles integration.

Turn this checklist into a project brief

Share the details you know. Unconfirmed items can be checked with the supplier.
